A few days ago, Venusense announced officially joining MAPP program of Microsoft (Microsoft Active Protections Program), which made it able to understand security information of security bulletins of Microsoft ahead of time and accordingly prepare well for new threat and provide prompt and effective protection to the client of two parties.
MAPP can in advance provides information about authorization vulnerability to security partner. Gap would greatly shorten between the time when Microsoft issues security upgrading information and the time when development code used for upgrading was made public. After joining MAPP, Venusense may more rapidly implement improvement and upgrading for enterprise-level security product under its name, e.g. Venusense Intrusion Detection and Management System, Venusense g intrusion prevention system, Venusense UTM, Venusense Vulnerabilities Scanning and Management System, with purpose to benefit the clients as early as possible.
Microsoft and Venusense would depend on more close cooperation and hold credit and responsibility to shape more active security defense system for the clients.
